In 2007, the company introduced the Talking First Aid kit. This revolutionary kit includes Intelligent First Aid's patented injury pack system combined with audio microchip technology. Consumers can now turn on the pack, press a button, and hear step-by-step expert first aid instructions. Talking First Aid kits are available around the world.


Dave Hammond, President:

Dave Hammond began his career in injury care as a Navy Hospital Corpsman during the Vietnam War. He was a combat medicine instruction expert, and became an essential part of the Navy's combat training programs. In 1972, he was selected as a member of a special research team charged with the challenge of increasing the life expectancy of young corpsman in combat situations. After the war, Dave accepted the position as Director of Training for the US Navy, becoming the first education specialist ever hired by the Navy Medical Department.

Dave became a Navy advisor to the Department of Transportation, and became a key player in planning the early stages of nationwide emergency medical services for a wide range of organizations and government entities. He is a noted speaker at national emergency care seminars, and is the author of A Guide to Medical Care in Isolated Environments. In 2002, he was honored for his innovations in the field of injury care and emergency management and was inducted into the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame.

Dave Hammond holds a master's degree in education from George Washington University.

Linda Hammond, Executive Vice President

With over 20 years of consumer marketing, retail management, and product design experience, Linda Hammond is credited with the design and development of Intelligent First Aid's products.

As Executive Vice President of DLH, Linda oversees all marketing activities of the company as well serving as the key point of contact with national first aid experts. She has also been instrumental in creating new versions of the kit appropriate for homes, schools, churches, the workplace, and industrial settings.

Ms. Hammond has been a guest speaker of the National Association of Woman Business Owners. With a BA in Psychology, she is certified in elementary education along with first aid and CPR.


Maurizio A. Miglietta, D.O., F.A.C.O.S.
Chief, Division of Acute Care Surgery, Director of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, Columbia University, College of Physicians, Surgeons

Dr. Miglietta is the Chief of Acute Care Surgery at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Prior to his new role at Columbia, Dr. Miglietta served as Chief of the Division of Trauma & Critical Care at New York University School of Medicine and Director of Trauma and Co-Director of the SICU at the renowned and historic Bellevue Hospital Trauma Center in New York City.

Dr. Miglietta completed Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowships at the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and University of Maryland. He is also an Honorary Police Surgeon for the New York City Police Department.

Dr. Miglietta has authored and co-authored more than thirty peer-reviewed publications relating to trauma treatment and emergency surgery and is dual board certified in Surgery and Critical Care.

Dr. Miglietta is also the creator of Tac-Pack® pocket sized trauma treatment kit carried by federal and local law enforcement agents throughout the United States.

Walter L. Robb
President, Vantage Management, Inc.

Dr. Robb, retired Senior Vice President of Corporate Research & Development for GE Medical Systems is currently President of Vantage Management which provides business and technical consulting to growth companies. Robb led Corporate R & D from 1986 to 1992, when he retired after 41 years with GE. Prior to that he was Senior VP of GE Medical Systems, leading that business to a worldwide leadership position in CT and MR imaging. In 1993, Dr. Robb received the National Medal of Technology for his leadership in the development of medical imaging technologies.
